Well, this is a little scary. I have a sudden loss of appetite in one of my friends’ dogs. The vet has prescribed Zyban to help with weight loss but it’s been working fine. I am also on Zyban for anxiety. It has been working for me and is no longer a problem. Can anyone share any info about the side effects? Also, is the treatment right for me?
I am very sorry. I just had a bad experience with the dogs that came with the medication. Hi everyone! I am a very overweight woman with a hard time getting a full head of hair. I have been on some bupropion and bupropion is not as effective as Zyban. I was wondering if this medication could help. It may be helpful if I had the proper dose but not for weight loss.
I feel it is not the same for everyone and I am not sure if it’s a good thing for everyone to take, but I think it’s important to start at the lowest possible dose and not stop the medication too quickly. I know you are concerned about weight gain but I am not sure if it is just a matter of taking too much, or if it is the same as other drugs that may not work for everyone. Thanks for the advice. I really feel like I need to take this medication and not stop it. My dog has gained about 1lbs when she was a teenager, I think it’s good for her. It is not helping me with anxiety. I’m also a bit worried about the side effects.

I agree with the others above. The Zyban may be a little better in the short term but it’s not the same for everyone. I feel like I need to take it because it has not worked for me so far. I feel like I am being cautious and have to try and make sure I have the right dose of the drug to help.
I’m hoping to start the treatment with my doctor to see if it works. I’m also concerned about side effects and trying to adjust my dosage.
I’m a bit concerned about the weight gain and anxiety. It’s just something that can be a bit confusing for me. I’m a bit worried about the side effects, but it seems like a good thing to start with and see how it goes.
